Welcome to my Webpage
Here you will find links to my teaching, research, publications, and other related activities. Feel free to browse the website. You may be espcially interested in the "Virtual Lab" page. This page is a continually developing library of virtual dyanmic mechanical systems. It has links to web-accessible models of mechanical systems that can be simulated to produce animated responses for various user-specified inputs, initial conditions, and controls. You can use this site to prototype a controller design or animate a dynamic response on a virtual system. This virtual library will eventually include access to models of a torsion vibration plant, a rectinlinear vibration plant, a cart-pendulum system, a ball-and-beam system, and various other industry- and research-inspired system dynamics problems.
For those students visiting this page, note that the "Teaching" page provides links to the syllabi, homework assignments, notes, solutions, and other supplementary material for the courses I teach. You will find there resources to help with homework assignments and test preparation.
