ME Faculty Member Publishes a Top 25 Article

Mechanical Engineering faculty member, Dr. Dumitru Caruntu, has recently been recognized for his research and collegiality in his area.  He has been recently been awarded a certificate of appreciation from the ASME Design and Engineering Division for serving as a Symposium Organizer for the 4th International Conference on Micro- and Nanosystems.  Furthermore, his article entitled "Dynamic Model Characteristics of Transfer Vibration of Cantilevers of Parabolic Thickness," ranked 1st amongst the top 25 articles cited from the Mechanics Research Communictions, a top tier journal in the area of engineering mechanics.
